Nubli is a start-up based out of Bay Area, founded in May of 2008. Our mission is to overcome email overload by providing an intelligence pack for your inbox, helping you with your email like a good assistant would. Nubli’s vision is to create smarter software for you to achieve Zero Inbox in lesser time, thereby increasing your productivity. Nubli (like a virtual assistant) learns your priorities, preferences and workflow. Nubli’s goal is to take the tediousness out of doing emails. The Team

Kumar Saurabh
Prior to founding Nubli, Kumar served as the Director of Engineering at ArcSight, a Security Information Management (SIM) vendor. During his tenure at ArcSight he has executed many projects taking them from concept to completion which has paid huge dividend for ArcSight. His expertise is in Data-mining, Artificial Intelligence and other related technologies. He has a B.Tech degree from IIT Kharagpur and MS in Computer Science from Columbia University.
Mihir Mohanty
Prior to founding Nubli, Mihir served as the Director of Product Management at ArcSight. Mihir has 15 years of business management experience in building businesses from product concept to business lines for companies like ArcSight, McAfee and others. As the group product manager of Messaging security products at McAfee, he oversaw a complete turnaround of the product lines and helped grow the business by 150% from $30 Million to $75 Million in two years. His expertise is in customer acquisition, market development and product definition.

Our story

Carla is a manager of her Company. She receives a ton of emails, close to 200 emails every day. They usually come in layers from different regions of the world. By the time she goes to the office in the morning, she already has 100 mails waiting for her. Even before she has looked at the first 20 or 30 emails when someone interrupts and then she has to attend to something or go attend a meeting. And this continues for the rest of the day. At the end of the day she finds no peace of mind, constantly scanning her inbox for that one email that might have fallen through the cracks. Sounds familiar? That’s an ” email overload “ , and its only getting worse. We have lived with this problem for years, trying almost all kinds of solutions in the market to fix it but reached a state of non existence.

” There has to be a better way!! “

So we decided to take on the challenge of developing our own solution, that would help us improve our productivity and save time.

The goals of the solution were simple.

Can I automatically get a list of e-mails that I need to respond to right away without spending half a day going through my entire inbox?
Can I build a dynamic group of e-mails to better organize my mails through an automated tagging system?
Can I achieve zero inbox everyday without spending 30% of my time scanning through my inbox?
Can I get reminders to follow up on important e-mails?
